I lead groups that study the relationship between creativity and spirituality. Using Julia Cameron's book, The Artist's Way as a springboard, we address the societal and personal barriers that exist to prevent us from becoming the fully realized creative people that God wants us to be. The first hour of each class is discussion within the group and the second hour consists of a meditative creative activity that is totally process oriented. The outcome of these studies is a renewed spiritual depth and awareness of the fulfillment that can be attained by listening to the voice of the Great Creator and following our own unique path to become all that we are meant to be.

Classes in drawing and painting and figure drawing and painting happen when they happen, usually in my studio in Tucker, GA. Contact me and I will let you know what is ongoing and what is forthcoming.

I frequently visit churches and lead workshops about Liturgical Art. The congregation will gather and we discuss the process, the history and the importance of visual arts as a part of the peoples' worship. The workshop will include an opportunity for the congregation to participate in cutting a banner to use in their place of worship. This enables the congregation to literally have a hand in creating visual art for their sanctuary and enjoy the fun of being together and working on a common project. These times together are certainly great fun but, more importantly, they are sacred moments. It is a joy to find that the work of our hands can be a holy event, the process of creating can be a form of prayer and the art can actively illuminate God's word as it hangs in the sacred space.
